Design

We often encourage customers to see slabs in person at our showroom in addition to viewing samples under the type of lighting that will be used in their space.

Finally, we collaborate on detailed designs like tile patterns for backsplashes, showers, and floors. We can also custom-make shower pieces such as niches, benches, curbs, and other project elements that will bring your vision to life.

Once the design is finalized, our experts visit your space to take accurate measurements. These measurements are used to create templates that will be used to ensure a perfect fit when it is time for installation. This often includes cutouts for sinks and other fixtures.

Once the measurements and templates are ready, the chosen material is cut into slabs or sheets. This can be done using various tools like diamond saws, water jets, or CNC machines, depending on the material and complexity of the design.

The edges are shaped and profiled according to the customer’s preference. Common edge profiles include pencil, 1/4 beveled, 1/4 round, bullnose, ogee, or custom designs.

The surface is then finished to achieve the desired texture and appearance. This involves various techniques depending on the material and the desired finish (e.g., polished, leathered, or honed).

If there are any cutouts required for sinks, cooktops, or other fixtures, they are often made during this stage. These cutouts are carefully measured and precision-cut to ensure a proper fit.

Inspection

The fabrication process requires skilled craftsmanship, precision cutting, and attention to detail to create a high-quality and visually appealing finished product. Before installation, the finished piece undergoes a thorough quality control check to make sure it meets our high standards.

Installation
